Two Children Drown in Well in Taiz Province

A tragic incident in Taiz province claimed the lives of two children who drowned in a water well in the village of Al-Barsa’a, located in the Dabwaan area of Khadeer district, southeast of the province.

Local media sources reported that Khaled Moataz Mohammed Abdu Al-Samie (9 years old) and Motaher Majid Mohammed Qaed Al-Roumi (18 years old) died while attempting to pump water from the well using a motor pump, before falling inside and drowning.

The sources added that residents managed to retrieve the bodies, while authorities were notified to complete the necessary legal procedures.
