Child Dies and Goes Missing in Flash Floods in Ibb Governorate

A seven-year-old child died yesterday evening after being swept away by flash floods in Ibb Governorate.

According to local media sources, the child, Eyad Mohammed Mahdi (7), fell from a pedestrian bridge near the central prison in Al-Mashannah District and was carried away by the floodwaters to an unknown location.

Sources added that the child’s family, along with a number of volunteers, have been searching for him since the incident occurred, but his body has not yet been recovered.
