Child Injured by Sniper Fire in Northern Lahj Province

A child sustained serious injuries on Sunday morning after being targeted by a sniper in the village of Qadash, located in the Karsh area of Al-Qubaytah District, northern Lahj Governorate, southern Yemen.

According to consistent local sources, the child—identified as Adi Abdulaziz Ahmed Saleh—was shot in the neck by a sniper stationed on an elevated position overlooking the village.

The incident reportedly occurred while the child was having breakfast near his home. He was later transferred to a hospital in the city of Aden to receive urgent medical care.

This attack is part of a pattern of ongoing violations committed by parties to the conflict against civilians, particularly in areas near frontlines in Lahj and other regions.
