Child Dies After Lightning Strike in Hajjah Province

A child was killed by a lightning strike that hit a rural area in Yemen’s northwestern Hajjah province on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, according to local sources.

The sources reported that the child, Mohammed Mujahid Al-Arabi, died after being struck by lightning in one of the villages in the province, amid ongoing weather disturbances affecting the region.
