Two Young Sisters Injured in Houthi Drone Strike on Civilian Home in Al Hudaydah Governorate
Two sisters sustained serious injuries on Tuesday after a drone attack allegedly carried out by the Houthi group targeted a residential home in the Mashaa area of Hays District, southern Al Hudaydah Governorate, according to Al-Masdar Online.
The sources reported that the attack injured Roa Hassan Salem Mahdi, 5, and her sister Diala Hassan Salem Mahdi, 10. The two girls were transferred to the field hospital in Al-Khokha District to receive initial medical care before being referred to a hospital in the city of Mokha due to the severity of their conditions.
The attack also resulted in the death of livestock and caused material damage to the targeted civilian home, highlighting the serious risks posed to civilians and civilian property and exposing children and women in particular to direct threats to their safety and lives.
