Three Children Killed and Two Others Injured in Taiz

Three children were killed and two others injured today in a drone attack carried out by the Houthi group targeting Al-Tarira village in Al-Wazi'iyah District, west of Taiz Governorate.

The Minister of Legal Affairs said in a post on her account on the X platform that the attack took place around midday and resulted in the deaths of three children and injuries to two girls, noting that the incident occurred in a residential area.

The attack comes amid continued risks faced by children and civilians in conflict-affected areas, where the use of weapons and drones in residential areas poses a direct threat to children's lives and safety.

The incident highlights the urgent need to strengthen the protection of children and civilians and to avoid attacks affecting populated areas, in order to safeguard children and reduce civilian casualties.
