Four Children and 15 Civilians Injured in Vehicle Rollover in Raymah

Four children and 15 other civilians were injured on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, in Raymah Governorate after a vehicle carrying families and civilians, including young children, overturned while traveling from Al-Salafiyah District toward Al-Jabin District.

Local sources told Yemen’s Children that the accident was caused by the vehicle being overloaded beyond its permitted passenger and weight capacity, in addition to speeding, difficult road conditions, and the lack of basic road safety measures.

Main and secondary roads in Raymah Governorate suffer from severe deterioration in infrastructure and a lack of maintenance, despite their rugged and dangerous conditions.
