Finding of the child Jana Al-Kahlani in Aden

It was announced today that the child Jana Al-Kahlani has been found in the city of Aden, following days of reports about her disappearance, which sparked widespread interaction on social media.

A statement issued by the Taiz Governorate Police confirmed that security authorities have not recorded or substantiated any kidnapping incidents in the city of Taiz or its liberated districts since 2015, stressing the importance of accuracy and objectivity in sharing information and avoiding rumors or unreliable news.

The statement called on citizens, journalists, and social media users to obtain information from official, reliable sources. It also urged parents to take responsibility for monitoring their sons and daughters and to strengthen family and community awareness, contributing to child protection and the prevention of problems.

In this context, the child’s father appeared in a widely circulated video on social media, announcing that his daughter had been found. He stated that she was kidnapped on December 13 from the Al-Jahmaliyah area in Taiz Governorate, expressing his gratitude to the authorities who helped apprehend the gang involved, and to everyone who contributed to bringing his case to public attention.
