UNICEF: Launch of a Program to Support the Education of More Than 10,000 Children in Al Hudaydah
United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) has announced the launch of a new nine-month program in Yemen targeting Al Khawkhah District in Al Hudaydah Governorate. The initiative aims to ensure that 10,250 children have access to inclusive and quality education, particularly those who are out of school or at risk of dropping out.
The program focuses on expanding access to education and improving its quality through a comprehensive package of interventions, including education services, child protection, social policy, and social and behavioral change initiatives. These efforts seek to promote a safe and supportive learning environment for children.
The program is expected to help reduce school dropout rates, support the most vulnerable children, and enable them to continue their education in a more stable and responsive environment that meets their educational and social needs.
