12 Killed, Including a Child and a Woman, in Tragic Collision in Abyan

A devastating traffic accident occurred in Abyan after a mid-sized passenger bus collided with a heavy transport truck, resulting in the death of most of the bus passengers.

According to local sources, 12 people were killed, including a child and a woman. The victims were from Taiz and were on their way to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah at the time of the crash.

The collision took place on the international highway in Al-Majalah area, Al-Habaj village, in Al-Mahfad district of Abyan governorate, prompting renewed calls to strengthen road safety measures on major highways to prevent such tragic incidents.
