Child Duaa Becomes Latest Civilian Victim of Violence in Maqbanah District, Taiz Governorate

Seven-year-old Duaa Fouad Abdo Saleh was injured by a sniper bullet allegedly fired by a Houthi sniper while she was in Al-Tuwair village, located in the Yemen sub-district of Maqbanah District, west of Taiz Governorate.

According to local sources, the bullet struck the child in the shoulder, causing injuries that required her to be transferred for medical treatment.

The incident highlights the ongoing dangers faced by children in conflict-affected areas, where civilians, including children, continue to be exposed to injury and harm as a result of persistent violence in several parts of Yemen
