Taiz: Child Killed by Gunfire in Khadir District

A 10-year-old child, Majd Waleed Abdulbasit Al-Sulami, was killed after being shot in Al-Adi village, Wadi Al-Hussein area, in Khadir District, east of Taiz Governorate.

According to local sources, the child was shot by an armed member of the Houthi group, resulting in his immediate death.

The incident comes amid the continued exposure of children in several Yemeni regions to the dangers of armed conflict, with ongoing calls to strengthen child protection measures and shield children from the devastating impacts of violence and war.
