Child Killed in Al Hudaydah by Falling Bullet Fired During Wedding Celebration

Special sources told Yemen Children Platform that a child, Ali Alayah, from Al-Hamli area in Al Hudaydah Governorate, was killed after being struck by a falling bullet that had been fired during a wedding celebration in a neighboring village.

According to the sources, the child was hit by a stray bullet on the morning of the previous day and was transferred for medical treatment. However, he succumbed to his severe injuries on the evening of the following day.

The incident comes amid the continued practice of indiscriminate gunfire during weddings and social occasions, which has resulted in civilian casualties, including children. Such incidents have renewed calls for stronger measures to curb the use of firearms at public celebrations and for the enforcement of stricter legal penalties to protect innocent lives.
