A Child Killed in Another Incident in Marib Governorate

Special sources told Yemen Children Platform that the child Ayman Mujahid Mohammed Hassan Al-Bahri was killed at noon on Saturday in the Hadbaa area, without any justifiable reason, while he was playing with a number of his peers near the perpetrator’s house.

The sources confirmed that the swift intervention of local residents helped subdue the perpetrator, preventing further victims, amid a state of fear and panic that swept the area following the incident.

The sources added that the Al-Suraihi family handed over the perpetrator, A. Sh. A., to a local police station immediately after the crime occurred.

Residents of the area, along with activists and child rights advocates, called on security and judicial authorities to swiftly complete legal procedures and impose deterrent penalties on the perpetrator, to ensure justice, protect children, and prevent the recurrence of such painful incidents that threaten community safety.
