Sources said the girl’s father, Abdul Latif Jameel, a Yemeni expatriate from the village of Rukab Shamir in Maqbanah district, had passed away in Saudi Arabia, leaving his family and relatives in a state of shock and grief.

The sources added that the girl, who was living with her family in Taiz, was deeply affected after hearing the news of her father’s death before falling from the rooftop of the house, which led to her death.
