Al-Dhalea: Body of Tortured Child Found

Residents of Damt city, in Al-Dhalea governorate, discovered the body of a child bearing signs of severe torture, in an incident that has sparked widespread tribal outrage.

According to media sources, the body was identified as that of 14-year-old Ibrahim Mohsen Qaed Ghosheim, from Dhamar governorate. His body was found dumped in one of the city’s neighborhoods, showing marks of beating and mutilation.

The crime has provoked widespread condemnation within the community, with calls for an immediate investigation to uncover the circumstances of the incident and bring the perpetrators to justice, amid a state of anger and tension in the local society.
