Awareness Event in Aden on Psychological Support and Dealing with Children with Autism

The Aden Association for Children with Autism organized today an awareness event titled “Psychological Support and Awareness on Autism Spectrum Disorder”, with support from the United Mission for Relief and Development (UMR).

The event aimed to raise community awareness about Autism Spectrum Disorder by distributing informational brochures and providing guidance on behavioral and developmental symptoms associated with autism, particularly in infants. It also addressed ways of dealing with children with autism and emphasized their ability to integrate and contribute effectively to society.

The association’s chairwoman, Abeer Al-Yousfi, highlighted the importance of community awareness regarding this group, stressing the need to begin rehabilitation and training at an early age. She praised the humanitarian role and ongoing support provided by the United Mission for Relief and Development for the association’s activities and services.
