Taiz Education Office Mandates Parents to Enroll Their Children in Basic Education

The Education Office in Taiz Governorate has announced the implementation of new measures requiring parents to enroll their children in basic education, as part of efforts to address the growing problem of school dropouts.

The office directed educational districts and local councils to enforce the compulsory education system and apply legal penalties against violators, in addition to organizing community awareness campaigns highlighting the importance of education.

This move comes amid rising dropout rates caused by worsening economic conditions and increasing education costs, which have led many families to deprive their children of schooling.
