Yemen's Children Platform Implements the Third Session of the Child Journalism Program on the Six Grave Violations Against Children

The Yemen's Children Platform, in partnership with the National Organization of Yemeni Media Professionals (Sada), has implemented the third session of the “Child Journalism” program, titled “The Six Grave Violations Against Children.” The training is part of the platform’s ongoing efforts to raise awareness about children’s rights and the role of media in protecting them.

The course aims to educate participants about the six grave violations identified by the United Nations as the most severe crimes affecting children during armed conflicts: killing and maiming, recruitment and use of children, attacks on schools and hospitals, rape and other forms of sexual violence, abduction, and denial of humanitarian access.

This session is part of a comprehensive program recently launched by the Yemen's Children Platform to advocate for the protection and promotion of children’s rights.
