Yemen's Children Platform Concludes Training Workshop on Documenting Violations Against Children within the Child Journalism Program

The Yemen's Children Platform, in partnership with the National Organization of Yemeni Media Professionals (SADA), concluded the third training workshop on Documenting Violations Against Children as part of the Child Journalism Program. The two-day course aimed to familiarize participants with laws and conventions related to violations against children and to enhance their ability to produce journalistic reports that meet professional and legal standards.

The workshop included practical training activities on information-gathering methods, source verification, and the responsible use of field evidence. Participants also discussed real-life examples from the Yemeni context and began developing their own story proposals.

Participants expressed their deep appreciation for the training content, affirming their commitment to applying the acquired skills to serve children’s causes and shed light on their suffering with awareness, professionalism, and legal responsibility.
