Dhamar: Child Killed by Armed Man in Atma District

A young boy, Abdulhafidh Hael Mohammed Muawadha, was shot dead with a bullet to the head by an armed man in Atma District, Dhamar Governorate, in a crime that has shaken the local community and sparked widespread outrage.

According to media sources, the assailant, identified as M.A.G., 25, from the Al-Sharam Al-A’la area, opened fire directly at the child before fleeing the scene, leaving behind shock and grief.

The incident comes as part of a growing wave of crimes and violations in areas under Houthi control, where the spread of weapons, deteriorating security conditions, and the absence of the rule of law continue to put civilians at risk.
