Child Killed in Traffic Accident in Taiz

A 12-year-old boy, Hani Arafat Abdullah Abdulwali, was killed in a tragic traffic accident in the Al-Hawban area of Taiz province.

Exclusive sources told Yemen Children’s Platform that the accident claimed the child’s life instantly, in yet another incident highlighting the grave risks children face on the roads, particularly amid the lack of adequate traffic safety measures.

This tragedy adds to a series of similar traffic accidents reported in Taiz and across Yemen, where children are often among the most vulnerable victims.
