Yemeni Child Wins National Wushu Kung Fu Championship in Egypt
Yemeni athlete Abdulrahman Moeen Al-Sayyadi has achieved a remarkable sporting milestone by claiming first place in the Northern Sector National Wushu Kung Fu Championship for the 2024/2025 season, organized by the Egyptian Wushu Kung Fu Federation on August 24–25.
The tournament witnessed intense competition among clubs and athletes across various age groups and weight categories. Al-Sayyadi, representing Talaa Al-Osstol Club in Alexandria, excelled in the Under-14, 34 kg category, securing the top spot.
His coach, Captain Omar, praised the young athlete’s outstanding performance, describing him as a promising talent with a bright sporting future.
This victory highlights the presence of Yemeni talents in international sports arenas and carries a message of hope, showcasing the ability of Yemeni youth to achieve success despite the difficult circumstances their country continues to face.
