Two Children Die Due to Floodwaters in Taiz

Two children, Mujahid Mohammed Al-Mahwli (12 years old) and Ayloul Al-Sama’i, have died due to floodwaters that swept through the city of Taiz בעקבות heavy rainfall.

Local sources reported that Mujahid died this afternoon from injuries sustained after being swept away by the floods while attempting to cross with his mother in the Al-Dahi area in central Taiz. Meanwhile, Ayloul Al-Sama’i died last night in a similar incident.

This comes as heavy rains continue to fall on the city, leading to the formation of torrential floods that have caused human casualties, amid warnings of increasing risks threatening residents, particularly children.
