Death of Three Children by Drowning in a Water Pond in Saada

A source at the governorate’s operations room told the Yemeni News Agency (SABA) – Sana’a that a report was received at 3:00 p.m. today about the drowning of three children: Mushtaq Sadiq Al-Ajiri (12), Hadi Hadi Al-Sabaei (13), and Bashar Ali Haj Al-Radaei (15), all residents of Al-Matlouh neighborhood in Saada city.

According to the source, the children were taken to the hospital where they were confirmed dead due to drowning. The source urged parents to closely monitor their children and prevent them from going to flood channels and water تجمعات, especially during the rainy season.

Meanwhile, a source in the Civil Defense in the governorate stressed the importance of raising awareness among children about the dangers of swimming in dams and flood streams, particularly during rainfall, due to the serious risks they pose to their lives.
