Mukhtar Al-Yafaei, Minister of Social Affairs and Labour. The course focused on child protection, case management, and the principles of inter-agency cooperation in child protection.

The eight-day training, supported by Save the Children, aimed to equip 30 male and female participants with essential knowledge on child protection, psychosocial support, the risks facing children and their impact on both children and society as a result of abuse and exploitation, methods of ensuring children's protection, and the legal foundations of child protection.

At the conclusion of the event, the Deputy Minister of Social Affairs and Labour and the Director General of the Governorate Office presented certificates of completion to the participants.

The closing ceremony was also attended by Ehab Mohammed Babreesh, Director General of Social Defence at the Ministry; Mina Mahmoud Azzani, Director General of Social Assistance; and Mazen Mahmoud, Director of the Social Defence Department at the Governorate Office of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour.
