Three Children Die and a Fourth Injured from Suffocation Inside a Car in Lahj Governorate

Three children died and a fourth was injured after they suffocated inside a car that had been parked for a long period in a neighborhood in Lahj Governorate.

A local source told “Al-Masdar Online” that the four children were from the same family. They had gone out at noon to buy some items from a nearby grocery store, after which the family lost contact with them and began searching, while also notifying the police.

According to the source, the children were found inside an abandoned car covered in dust. They had closed the door from the inside, ending up in a completely unventilated space. Three of them died immediately, while the fourth was taken to a hospital for treatment and is in critical condition.
