Taiz: Child injured in Houthi shelling
The child, Wajdi Ammar Thabet Abdu Mohammed (an orphan), sustained varying injuries as a result of artillery shelling carried out by the Houthi group on the Al-Kadha area in the western countryside of Taiz governorate.
He was transferred to Al-Thawra Hospital in Taiz city to receive medical care.
This attack comes just two days after another child, Hisham Al-Shumairi, was wounded by a Houthi sniper in eastern Taiz, as part of an ongoing, systematic escalation targeting civilians and children in the governorate.
