Taiz: Houthi Sniper Injures 7-Year-Old Child
A seven-year-old boy was seriously injured this evening in the city of Taiz after being targeted by a sniper belonging to the Houthi group while playing with his friends near his home in the Kamb al-Roos neighborhood of Salah District, east of the city.
Local sources in Taiz reported that the child, Hesham Ahmed Ameen al-Shamiri, sustained shrapnel wounds in various parts of his body after the Houthi sniper stationed in the al-Hareer area opened fire in the direction of the children.
This incident is part of a series of repeated violations targeting civilians and children in residential neighborhoods of Taiz, amid a growing pattern of attacks committed by the Houthi group against the local population.
