Five Children Killed in Explosive Blast in Taiz Province

Five children were killed on Friday evening as a result of an explosive ordnance detonation in western Taiz province, southwest Yemen.
Medical sources confirmed that the bodies of the victims were transported to Al-Rafa’i Hospital at approximately 6:30 p.m. The children were identified as:
Mubarak Yasser Ali Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Sharaabi, 14 years old
Osama Abu Bakr Ahmed Ali, 12 years old
Basheer Akram Ahmed Ghaleb, 12 years old
Ahmed Ali Moqbel Abdullah Al-Atmi, 12 years old
Anas Jawad Mohammed Saleh, 14 years old
The incident sparked widespread anger and outrage among local residents, who condemned it as a crime against children. They called on the relevant authorities to launch an urgent investigation, hold those responsible accountable, and conduct a field survey to clear the area of war remnants.
