A Child Injured by Random Gunfire in Shabwa
The child Mohammed Zayed Abdullah Al-Awadhi (10 years old) was injured this evening after a random shooting incident near Al-Khaleej Supermarket on Dirham Street in the city of Ataq, the capital of Shabwa Governorate.
Eyewitnesses reported that the child was with his father at Al-Salem tire repair shop (banchar) near the scene when random gunshots were fired, resulting in his injury, as well as injuries to two women who were present at the location.
Local residents have called on the relevant authorities to open an urgent investigation into the incident, hold those responsible accountable, and take strict measures to prevent such reckless acts that endanger the lives of civilians, particularly children and women.
