Houthi Supervisor Abducts Child and Detains Him in Amran Province

Media sources reported that a security supervisor affiliated with the Houthi group, identified as Abdulqader Ghazi Haider, known as “Abu Rabish,” abducted an 11-year-old child yesterday from Al-Far’ village in Bani Suraim District.

According to the sources, the child, Rashid Fathi Saleh Al-Maliki, was taken to the district’s Security Administration prison, where he has been detained without any legal justification or known judicial procedures.

The incident has sparked widespread anger among local residents, who expressed concern over the continued violations of children’s rights. They called for the child’s immediate release and for ensuring his protection in accordance with local laws and relevant international conventions on the rights of the child.
