Two Children Win First and Second Place at the Marib Equestrian Festival

The Marib Equestrian Festival 2025 concluded today in Marib Governorate after ten days of intense competitions featuring 56 riders from various Yemeni governorates. The festival drew significant official and public attendance.

The closing ceremony was held in the presence of Marib Deputy Governor Dr. Abdulrabuh Miftah, Director General of the Youth and Sports Office in the governorate Mr. Ali Hashwan, Director General of Marib City District Mr. Mohammed Saleh Farhan bin Jallal, along with several social and sports figures and a large audience of equestrian sports enthusiasts.

At the end of the festival, the winners of the top three places were honored: young rider Abdulrazzaq Ali Shalil Al-Harthi won first place, Saleh Mohammed Al-Jumhouri came in second, and Mohammed Naji Aweer Al-Nassi (Al-Mared) took third place, following remarkable performances that reflected a strong competitive spirit and Yemeni heritage.

Deputy Governor Dr. Abdulrabuh Miftah praised the efforts of the organizing committee in making the festival a success, stressing that such events help preserve cultural and sporting heritage and foster a sense of belonging and determination among young people.
