Two Children Killed in Hand Grenade Explosion Inside Their Home in Al-Mahrah

Sources told the Yemen Children Platform that citizen Fatimah Ridaif Sharib Qumsit and her two children, Ali and Mohammed, died on Saturday evening after a hand grenade exploded inside their home in the Ablaim area of Man’ar District, Al-Mahrah Governorate.

According to local sources, the explosion occurred after the two children tampered with the grenade inside the house, resulting in their immediate deaths.

The incident highlights the ongoing dangers posed by the proliferation of explosives and remnants of war, which continue to threaten civilian lives, particularly those of children.
