Child Killed, Brother Injured in Houthi Shelling West of Taiz

Nawazeh Massad, a young girl, was killed and her brother, Mohammed Massad, was seriously injured in an artillery attack carried out by the Houthi group on residential areas in western Taiz province.

According to local sources, mortar shells fired by the group targeted civilian homes in the village of Al-Hanaya, located in Maqbanah District. The shells landed near the children's home, resulting in the tragic casualties.

The injured child was transferred to the Saudi Field Hospital in the city of Mocha to receive urgent medical care. The attack has sparked fear and panic among residents of the village, particularly among children.
