Two Children Die, Several Injured After House Collapse in Al-Mahwit

A boy and a girl from the same family died on Tuesday evening when their house collapsed during heavy rainfall in the village of Al-Naq’a, located in the eastern Al-Ja’afira area of Bani Saad District, Al-Mahwit Governorate.

According to media sources, several children were inside the house at the time of the collapse. The incident resulted in the immediate death of the two children, while others sustained varying injuries and were transported to the Republican Hospital in the governorate for medical treatment.

The sources added that local residents rushed to the scene and were able to rescue the trapped children from under the rubble in the first moments following the collapse.
