Three Children Injured in a Traffic Accident in Hajjah Governorate

Three children sustained varying injuries in a horrific traffic accident that occurred in Al-Mahabsha District, north of Hajjah Governorate, claiming the life of their mother.

According to media sources, the accident resulted from the rollover of a vehicle driven by citizen Ibrahim Ali Saleh Al-Asadi while traveling in the Hajar area. The incident led to the immediate death of his wife, Abeer Abbas Salah Al-Hadi, while their three children suffered different degrees of injuries and were transferred to a health facility to receive necessary medical care.

This incident once again highlights the serious risks threatening children’s lives on rural roads in Hajjah Governorate, amid deteriorating infrastructure, rough road conditions, and the absence of road safety measures, underscoring the urgent need for action to prevent the recurrence of such accidents and to protect children.
