Three Children Die in House Collapse in Hajjah

Children Mazen Yahya Abdullah Ahmed Hajjaji (11), Raghad (5), and Taghreed (5 – twin) lost their lives when a house collapsed on its residents in Al-Khadra village, Suwakh sub-district, Kaidana district of Hajjah governorate.

The incident also left the father, Yahya Abdullah Hajjaji (40), his wife, and Abdullah Ahmed Hajjaji (40) injured.

According to Yemen Children Platform statistics, the number of children who have died due to heavy rains, floods, and lightning strikes during August has risen to 18.

Specialists have warned of the dangers of landslides and floods in mountainous areas during the rainy season, urging families to remain cautious and avoid living in deteriorating houses or near flood paths to protect the lives of children and families.
