Lahj: War Remnant Explosion Kills Two Children

Two children were killed and a woman was seriously injured on Monday when a war remnant exploded in Lahj Governorate.
Local media sources reported that the incident took place in the Al-Razna area of Al-Madhariba and Ras Al-A’ara District, where the children were playing with the explosive device, unaware of its danger, before it suddenly detonated.
The explosion left two children dead, whose identities have not yet been confirmed, while a 50-year-old woman, identified as (F.M.A.Y.), sustained severe injuries across her body, according to the same sources.
Experts have warned about the dangers of war remnants scattered across several Yemeni governorates, stressing that they pose a direct threat to children and women. They urged intensified community awareness efforts and clearance campaigns to prevent further civilian and child casualties.
