Infant Girl Dies in House Fire Caused by Fireworks in Al-Khokha
An infant girl died in a house fire that broke out in the village of Al-Danin in Al-Khokha District, in a tragic incident caused by the misuse of fireworks.
Police authorities reported that the victim, Nawal Abdo Hassan Ali Khudari (1 year old), lost her life when a fire erupted in her family’s home, owned by her father Abdo Hassan Ali Khudari, before spreading to a neighboring house belonging to Jaafar Abdullah Mohammed Yahya Khudari.
The fire completely destroyed both houses, resulting in the death of the child and the loss of three sheep that were inside the المنزل at the time. Material losses were estimated at approximately two million Yemeni rials.
Police confirmed that an investigation has been launched into the incident, attributing the cause of the fire to a child playing with fireworks inside the house, which led to the outbreak of the fire and the ensuing tragedy.
