Four Siblings Injured by Landmine Explosion in Al Hudaydah
Four sibling children were seriously injured on Saturday following the explosion of a landmine in Al-Durayhimi District, south of Al Hudaydah Governorate.
According to local sources, the injured children are the sons and daughter of citizen Omar Yahya: Ammar, Yahya, Juma, and Hanadi, all under the age of twelve. The explosion occurred while they were playing in the village of Al-Mukaymaniyah in Al-Munafira area, resulting in severe injuries to their limbs and various parts of their bodies.
Sources added that the children were transferred to a medical center to receive necessary treatment. The landmine is believed to be a remnant of war, highlighting the ongoing threat posed by explosive remnants to civilians, particularly children, in affected areas.
