Child Adi Bassam Al-Tayeb was killed today after being accidentally shot while handling a firearm with one of his friends in Mushra'a Wa Hadnan District, Taiz Governorate.

According to sources speaking to the Yemen Children Platform, the incident occurred in Al-Tayeb area, where the child was with a group of his peers. While they were handling a firearm in what was described as playful behavior, the weapon accidentally discharged, striking Adi directly and causing his death at the scene.
