Two Separate Hit-and-Run Incidents in Aden and Shabwa Leave a Child Dead and a Girl Injured

Two separate traffic accidents were reported in the past hours in Aden and Shabwa, resulting in the death of a child in Aden and serious injuries to a young girl in Shabwa.

Security authorities in Aden confirmed that Mohammed Saif Abdullah Ali Al-Ma’araji (6 years old) died in the Khormaksar district after being struck by a car driven recklessly by (M.Q.M.A., 36), while the child was playing near the accident site. The victim’s body was handed over to his family for burial, while the driver and his vehicle were taken into custody pending investigation.

In a separate incident in Shabwa governorate, Amani H.S.S. (11 years old) narrowly escaped death after being hit by a speeding motorcycle on the main road in the Ain Bamma’bad area. The motorcycle, driven by (S.A.S.Y., 16), struck the girl, causing head injuries and multiple wounds.

She was transferred to hospital for medical treatment, while traffic police detained the young driver and seized his motorcycle for further investigation.
