Aden: Child Drowns in Swimming Pool in Crater District

An eight-year-old boy drowned in a swimming pool at a resort in the city of Aden while he was swimming with his peers, without any supervision or presence of lifeguards.
A medical source told Al-Mawqe Post that the child, identified as A.A. Al-Khader, was swimming in a pool at a recreational park in the Crater District when he drowned unnoticed. He was later pulled from the water and transported to a local hospital, but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Following the incident, Crater Police and a forensic team arrived at the scene and launched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the tragedy. Residents have since called for stricter supervision at public swimming pools and the permanent presence of lifeguards to ensure children's safety.
