Raymah: Father Ends His Daughter’s Life by Throwing Her into a Well

A man identified by the initials A.A.H.A. reportedly threw his young daughter into a well located on his farm in the village of Al-Aqra’ah, in Wadi Al-Areed – Bani Al-Dhubaybi area, resulting in her immediate death.

According to local sources, the incident stems from longstanding family disputes that began when the child’s mother left the marital home due to alleged abuse and sought legal recourse. A court later issued a ruling to dissolve the marriage; however, its enforcement was reportedly obstructed due to interference by militia-affiliated figures.

Sources also indicated that the father had imposed strict restrictions on his daughters, preventing them from visiting their mother. Tensions reportedly escalated recently after the victim insisted on seeing her mother and was also prevented from attending a family event. This escalation ultimately culminated in what has been described as a tragic crime.

The sources added that the child’s body remains in the morgue of a hospital pending the completion of investigations. Meanwhile, the father denies the accusation, claiming that villagers were responsible for throwing his daughter into the well, despite the fact that the location is within his private, enclosed property.
