Lahj: Child Injured by Houthi Sniper Fire

A child was injured on Friday evening after being shot by Houthi snipers in Al-Dhahi village, Karsh area, in Al-Qabbaytah district, north of Lahj province.

According to eyewitnesses, the snipers targeted Awad Mohammed Saleh Al-Qawza’i (14 years old) while he was herding sheep in one of the area’s valleys, resulting in shrapnel wounds to various parts of his body.

Witnesses added that the child was taken to a field clinic for treatment and is suffering from severe psychological trauma as a result of the incident.
