Father Beats His Young Daughter to Death in Taiz

A horrific crime shocked the village of Al-Sarm in Al-Aqrod District, Taiz Governorate, today, as a father brutally beat his young daughter, Wada’a Sadiq Abdulghani, to death — a tragedy that recalls the killing of his first daughter years ago in a similar manner.

Local sources told Yemen Children Platform that the incident sparked widespread outrage and grief among residents, who described it as a horrific act of domestic violence and a complete loss of humanity and fatherhood.

The sources confirmed that security forces in the area had arrested the perpetrator, and investigations are underway to determine the motives and circumstances behind the crime.

Residents and activists called for swift completion of the investigation and prosecution of the killer, stressing the need for strict measures to prevent the recurrence of such crimes and to raise awareness about children’s rights and the importance of protecting them from domestic violence.
