Death of Two Children by Drowning in Lahj Governorate

Security sources revealed the death of two children who drowned in a water reservoir in Lahj Governorate, southern Yemen.

Security forces in Lahj received a report about a drowning incident at a dam in the Balad Amheid area, which claimed the lives of two children, aged 14 and 12, identified as Abdulhafed Ahmed and Al-Khadr Ahmed.

According to security authorities, the two children did not know how to swim, which led to their drowning and immediate death. Their bodies were recovered and handed over to their families after completing the necessary legal procedures, as no criminal suspicion was found in the incident.
