Child Among Seven Rescued from Drowning Off the Coast of Shihir

A child and six other individuals were rescued from a mass drowning incident that occurred today off the coast of Shihir city in Hadramout Governorate, after being caught off guard by strong sea currents while swimming.

Coast Guard teams managed to intervene just in time, pulling the victims from the water and transferring them to the hospital. Health authorities confirmed that all are in stable condition.

Local authorities have urged the public to exercise caution, especially during the Eid al-Adha holiday, noting that this marks the fourth such incident in recent days.
