A Child Injured in Fire That Destroyed Displaced Family Shelter in Al-Suwaida Camp, Marib
A child sustained burn injuries after a fire broke out and completely destroyed a displaced family’s shelter in Al-Suwaida Camp, north of Marib city.
Local sources reported that the blaze erupted in the shelter, which was built from highly flammable materials, causing it to burn down entirely. The fire left the child injured and resulted in significant material losses for the family, who lost all their belongings.
The incident once again highlights the dangers faced by displaced families living in camps, where fragile housing structures and the lack of safety measures continue to exacerbate children’s suffering and put their lives at risk.
